Senior AI-Native Solutions Architect / System Architect

About the Client
Industry: Leading subscription e-commerce company in the consumer brands space.
Team: Distributed engineering team.

The company is evolving its ecosystem to become AI-native and is looking for an architect to lead agent orchestration and system design initiatives.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a System Architect / Solutions Architect
• Hands-on experience with AI agent orchestration, agent skills/tooling, and memory management
• Strong Java and PostgreSQL expertise
• Experience designing complex distributed systems and making architectural decisions
• Familiarity with security and infrastructure tooling (Cloudflare or similar)
• Strong spoken English
• Russian language is a significant plus
• Rust experience is a plus
• Previous experience leading small engineering teams is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and evolution of AI-native systems and architecture
• Drive AI agent orchestration initiatives
• Make key architectural decisions across the platform
• Lead a small team of two engineers
• Work directly with the Director of Engineering
• Contribute to infrastructure, security, and engineering best practices
